3 Interpreting Media Neuro-linguistic programming or NLP Neuro-linguistic programming (or NLP) is a controversial interpersonal communication model applied in psychotherapy and other contexts of communication and change. It was initially co-created by Richard Bandler and linguist John Grinder in the 1970s based on the communication and behavioral patterns acquired from gestalt therapist Fritz Perls, family systems therapist Virginia Satir and psychiatrist Milton H. Erickson. The originators emphasize modeling of excellence as the core methodology of NLP, that is, the methods they used to imitate and produce the models of exceptional communicators. They also claim that the basic assumptions of NLP draw from aspects of neurology (“neuro-”), transformational grammar (“linguistics”) and cybernetics (“programming”). It has often been promoted as an art and science of effective communication and defined as ‘the study of the structure of subjective experience’. Others put more emphasis on the tools, techniques and applications specific to contexts such as psychotherapy, business management and communications training, motivational seminars, personal development, and teaching. en.wikipedia.org

@evilmoneysystem i’ve known this since 2007 since I became aware of the media lies. I haven’t watched tv since. Nice explanation though. Once you start watching a few of these NLP explanations, you start picking it up at work at school everywhere, then you realize how many magicians we have in society. Most of them are either in the media, politicians or people of authority like judges etc. it’s scary and at the same time it’s a chanllenge.

All these guys take training classes to be able to discredit the guest. I saw videos of this type of training classes for energy reps for public hearings. Never reply with “I know” reply with “all Americans now believe” or “Americans believe” otherwise you summed up his “you believe” implies by saying “I know” meaning it’s still only you that knows. Always say to anyone in a political argument that “Americans Know” or ALL AMERICANS NOW KNOW” Watch them start to squirm.

very good analysis my friend. I was wondering, do you know if the professor in the video has been shown this wonderful analysis of this interview? It would be really nice to know that he did…

Thanks a lot for providing public with such honest, professional & independence view. In last 20 years I am victim & witness of all the tricks you explained by a number of Canadians & I pleaded in my claim “Conspiracy” against them in the Courts. The defence that they filed was exactly like this case they accused me that I think ALL Canadians conspired, whereas I clearly named the wrongdoers. Canadians are expert in all said tricks, and I am wondering if they tough FOX!

Fox specializes in ad hominem attacks. Whether this is technically NLP or just simply media training gone psychopathic, good work on the breakdown. People need to see these tricks for what they are.

Of course students are ‘captives’ and probably worse.
School is about ‘education’, education is about
‘state idealogy’ indoctrination.
When you leave school, you get a ‘degree in slavery’!
Truth and independent thought , never!
Expensive ignorance.

Maybe the NLP got to Barrett himself, he came to call in his blogs for overthrow of the Obama government, for the Governor’s house to be burned down, and for 500,000 zionists to be rounded up and put in FEMA camps.
For more about Dr. Barrett see my video “Kevin Barrett Go to Your Room”

Fox, CBS, ABC, NBC, CNN…You can add your own acronym they all add up to NWO to me. The two party ~ Left Right, Republic Democrat… you name it… are used to setup meaningless conflict. Meaningless conflict, competition, ranker and emotion are all used to divert real discussion and examination. This nation is one big-time diverted, ignorant mass of folks. Hahaha… but that is changing rapidly and profoundly. This video is marvelous! Thank you so much.

At 2:20 he says “people with extremist views like yourself” while he clasps his hand in the form of prayer. This is to associate the word “extremist” with religion (since prayer is associated with religion). Placed together “extremist religion” is associated with Islam and Terrorism, and thus he is associating the professor as a terrorist in the mind of viewers.

Good job, and it makes us think. apart from some objections that I have, like for example the aphoristic “fox=666″.I mean, we can also also see that as a misdirection from the author. Also, I don’t believe qualifying for a proof a simplistic mathematical demonstration. As you claim for clues, we also need some more valid. Can we have the original video also please?I thing is more fair if we see it also, by ourselves, without the commentary. And thus, we can to balance the influences.Thanx anyway

@3718David3718 yeah. that in itself makes it hard to listen to this guy. Colbert is caricature of all this bs. That’s supposed to be obvious.

what i think is sad is that the people watching this already knew and were able to notice this. usually people that fall for these things will never get to watch this video or acquire the information presented here. i stumbled upon this but it’s not something new to me. happens every day in my country’s mass media too

I completely agree with you, but you kept referencing Stephen Colbert.
You do know he’s just plays a character right? His character is a parody of Fox News’ s right-wing journalists.
The real Colbert is as liberal as you and me.

@tardigrade6 and that’s the sad part; because lots of people watch shows like Jon Stewart, Steven Colbert which are described as satirical NEWS SHOWS!
Stop calling people names because you are too ignorant to figure out what’s really going on.
I pity folks like you
