I’m a huge fan of Derren Brown, but I am curious whether this is more of a trick than hypnotism. He sits right next to the gentleman who is supposedly in a trance. but how do I know it wasnt Derren touching his foot or something. Either way, good performance. Derren Brown rules.

I get paid for that. I have classes this year in New Hampshire, Edmonton Alberta Canada, London, Edinburgh (not definite), Brisbane QLD Australia, and Singapore.
If you really want to be a hypnotist, find a great trainer, and go. It is not something that I can just teach in a few sentences here on YouTube. Feel free to contact me and we will see what can be worked out.

This video teaches an outdated and nonsensical technique. By the way, the more someone has to draw inferences, the better your work will be. Of course you need to know how to create the context in which they can draw the inferences you want them to experience. In that case it’s wonderful. Counting is so outdated I think it’s insulting to even mention it in a training setting. We’re not in 1950 anymore. We’ve evolved our understanding of hypnosis. For instance, hypnosis doesn’t exist.

For the record, this video has nothing to do with hypnotizing someone to love you. It is about how to actually do hypnosis. It is about being as simple and direct as possible so that the subject goes quickly and easily into hypnosis.
